6000 YEARS OF ‘CHRISTIANITY’!

In the 1960’s in Mesopotamia (modern day Iraq) archeologists unearthed a city called Erech.   Archeologists and historians call this land the birthplace of civilization, the popular languages spoken in this ancient city were Sumerian and Akkadian. The period of the city is called the Uruk period and the population by 3000BC was estimated at 50,000 people.    In the Holy Bible, the book of Genesis 10:8-10 tells us that after the flood of Noah’s Ark, a great grandson of Noah whose name was Nimrod began to be a mighty one, a warrior, and the beginning of his empire was Babel and Erech.

Sumerian myths tell of a city even older than the city of Erech called Eridu.  Eridu  was the first of five cities before the flood.    Tradition also states that the kingship which had existed in Eridu before the flood was moved to Erech after the flood.  The story goes that the daughter of the king stole the insignia of kingship, the crown and sceptre etc and took them in a boat across the flood.

The biblical book of Isaiah 14:12-13. Tells us that the Archangel Lucifer sinned by wanting to be ‘as God’ desiring to exalt his throne above all the angels of God.  The result of Lucifer’s sin is that his form was changed to a huge red dragon Job 41:10-34, and his name was changed from Lucifer to Satan the Devil; after the earth and all of its’ prehistoric inhabitants had been destroyed; God formed a plan.

II Peter 3:8 one day is as 1000 years to God.  God’s plan is that the Kingdoms of Men will have free rule over this earth for 6000 years.  Humanity is given 6000 years to choose whether to give up their own idea of what is right or wrong and obey God OR deny God and use the reasoning of men to determine what is good and what is evil. God’s plan is told in Genesis 2:9, 16-17 by way of “two trees”.

The Tree of Life represents God’s Holy Spirit.   Choosing to follow God’s will absolutely, asking for His Holy Spirit to connect with the ‘spirit of man’ in humans, enables mortals to become immortal and live forever as spirit beings.

The Tree of Knowledge of Good or Evil represents the original sin of Lucifer who became Satan the devil. Sin is denying God by using our own reasoning to determine what is good and evil.

When humans decide what is right or wrong they SIN because they ignore God’s will, HE has already told us what is good and evil. The penalty for sin is death, NOT physical death, but ETERNAL death.    God intends mortal humans to become His spirit-born sons and live for eternity, once they have demonstrated the desire to adopt God’s will as their own.   The Archangel Lucifer was already immortal when he rebelled against God’s will, Satan the Devil will live forever in anger and frustration because he hates being subject to God.  God wants Humans to deliberately CHOOSE to follow Him BEFORE He gives them eternal life.

Adam sinned by deciding in his own mind that nakedness was evil Genesis 3:11.  The Lord asked Adam who had told him he was naked, knowing Adam had eaten of the forbidden tree.  After Adam’s sin he continued to live his physical life with the spirit of man in him, but God’s Holy Spirit and therefore immortality was denied him and all humanity. Genesis 3:24 a flaming sword guarded the tree of life.  God told Adam that when the breath of life left his body he would die and return to the dust from which he was made, Genesis 3:19.

Revelation 20:2-3 Satan the Devil, that old serpent which deceives the nations, the same serpent who in Genesis 3:1-7 tempted Eve to take of the fruit of knowledge of good and evil and become as gods, as the Devil himself did when he was Lucifer the Archangel Isaiah 14:12,13.   The serpent ‘opened their eyes’ by persuading them to choose their own opinions rather than obey God Genesis 3:7.

Sin came into the world with the 1st Adam and by Adam’s sin all humanity lost the opportunity for immortality. For 4000 long years (4 God Days) NO human being could become immortal II Peter 3:8.  Even King David whom God loved is still waiting in the earth for his resurrection to spirit when Christ comes the second time.

In the ‘last days’ the last 2000 years of the 6000 years that have been allotted to men, Christ came to earth to become a sacrificial lamb. Hebrews 1:2 Christ made the tree of life available again for mankind Romans 8:2 freed us from the law of sin and death.  It was the Lord God who came to earth as a mortal human being, becoming like Adam with the same opportunity Adam had, to  choose the Tree of Life by following God’s will rather than His own.  Christ is the last Adam, I Corinthians 15:45. The first man Adam became a living mortal, the last Adam a life-giving spirit.

Christ came for the express purpose of living His entire life in obedience to God’s will, and after that, to become the sacrifice of blood to atone for the sin of all humanity. Hebrews 9:7-12, 10:9-14.    Christ came to be sacrificed so that ALL HUMANITY now has the same opportunity given to Adam and Eve, NOW every person can decide which ‘tree’ to choose, we are no longer under the penalty of death handed down to us by Adam and Eve’s decision, provided we don’t make the same choice they made.

Genesis 4:1-8. Cain and Abel were two of the sons of Adam and Eve. Abel made an acceptable offering to God of a lamb. A lamb without blemish was required as a sacrifice to atone for sin as a REMINDER that Christ the son of God was to be the ultimate sacrifice for the sins of mankind Revelation 5:6-9 Christ is the lamb slain for us.

Cain made an offering to God, Cain reasoned that grain would be just as good as a lamb so he offered grain instead.  But Cain’s offering of grain disregarded the lesson that God wanted to show humanity. Cain was so jealous of Abel when God accepted Abel’s offering, that he murdered his brother.  Cain and his entire family went out from the settlement of his parents and Cain built the FIRST city mentioned in the bible, Genesis 4:17.

NOTE:  Cain built the FIRST city.  Cain committed murder because of his GRAIN ffering.    Cain was the son of Eve, who was called ‘THE MOTHER OF ALL LIVING’.  Cain was KING of the FIRST CITY BEFORE THE FLOOD.    Cain knew that the SERPENT told Adam & Eve their eyes would be opened and they would become WISE if they disobeyed God.

 THE TRINITY:

# 1 THE GODDESS:  In ERECH, the FIRST CITY AFTER THE FLOOD around 3000 BC the dominating religion of the period was the worship of the fertility Goddess the Lady of Heaven, Goddess of war and sexual love.

Tradition states that the daughter of the King of the first city BEFORE the flood, stole the insignia of ‘kingship’ and brought it over the flood to ERECH.  The insignia of the Goddess was a sheaf of wheat (grain).

#2 THE KING OF THE GODS:  The father and king of the gods was always depicted as a shadowy figure and before him in heaven was the sceptre, tiara, royal headgear and shepherds crook, the INSIGNIA OF KINGSHIP.

#3 THE LORD WIND:  The third god of the pantheon was called among other names “the Lord Wind”.   Originally from Eridu, the FIRST city BEFORE the flood, he was also known as the son of the mother of us all; the god of wisdom, Lord of the intelligent eye, begetter of mankind and the Revealer!

THE GODDESS:  The name of the Mesopotamian goddess was ‘Ishtar’ which later came to mean supreme goddess in much the same way that Julius Caesar’s name later came to mean czar or emperor.   Although other gods were worshipped with the goddess, including her consort Tammuz or Dumazi, the Good Shepherd, the chief deity was the goddess.  This same goddess was later known as Supreme Mother Goddess.

Prayers and incantations were mostly directed to The Immaculate Goddess.   Through the ages there were some periods of time when the son and not the mother was the supreme deity, however the worship of the same goddess has continued through thousands of years and many nations.

From Mesopotamia, goddess worship went to Egypt where she took on another name and some other characteristics indigenous to the area, then to Babylon. The worship of the goddess passed from Babylon to Persia, thence to Greece.  Temple women in the worship of the goddess were prostitutes.

THE PRIESTHOOD:   The most prominent buildings of the city of Erech were the temple towers (Ziggurats) forerunner of the pyramids of Egypt.   The corporate religion of the time was rich and powerful with huge sections of land set aside for the priests and their workers.     In times of hardship people would give gifts to the priests and the temple estates in the way of land or service (sometimes giving their children, or even themselves as perpetual servants).   All matters relating to the gods were undertaken by the priests, never by individuals, this made the priests very powerful and very rich.

THE WORLDWIDE RELIGION OF PAGANISMWhen Alexander’s Greek army conquered the nations of Egypt, Persia, Syria and Asia Minor he adopted the gods and religions of those peoples, thus they became Greek myths and legends.  After Alex’s death the Greek empire was divided among his four generals.  Eventually the empires of Egypt, Asia Minor, Greece & Macedonia, Syria & India came to be part of the Roman Empire. Biblical prophecies of Daniel 8:3-10 and the interpretation Daniel 8:15-25.

Rome embraced all gods and goddesses as her own and the Mesopotamian goddess along with various attributes picked up on her journey through the ages and nations, was added to the Roman pantheon.

How did the Pagan Goddess Ishtar become the 'Christian' Mother of God?

The Roman Emperor Constantine who is called by many “the father of Christianity” realised the political astuteness of a state religion.  For so many years the true followers of Christ had been a problem for Romans who held seats of power, no matter how much persecution was put on them they just didn’t go away.   The many gods of the Pagan Pantheon is totally at odds with Monotheism of True Christianity.

In 312 AD Constantine began the process of making his own version of christianity the established religion of the Roman Empire.   One of the first things he did was to declare Sunday, the first day of the week and already venerated by pagan Rome for the Sun god, "the Lord’s Day" of his new christian religion.

Sunday would continue to be known as the Lord’s Day as it had always been under paganism.  The Sabbath Day which God commanded us to keep on the 7th day of the week; the day which was to remind us of God’s plan concerning His 1000 year Kingdom being set up on earth after 6000 years of the kingdoms of men, this day  Constantine abolished and outlawed under pain of death. Daniel 7:17-21.

It was approximately 4000 years after Adam that Christ came to earth the first time as a mortal man.  It was in ‘the last days’ of the 6000 years allotted to men, 2000 years ago that Christ died and the 7th day Sabbath was abolished under the new Roman religion called Christianity.     The sign that God’s Kingdom would be set up on earth after 6000 years of civilizations of men, was to be shown by the observance of the 7th day Sabbath.    God commanded His people keep this 7th day as a reminder of what is to come. The Sabbath is the key to recognising God’s Plan for Humanity.

Constantine merged his new religion with popular pagan practices, renaming the pagan gods with christian names and intertwining paganism and christianity to such an extent that without God’s Holy spirit combined with thorough searching of the Holy Bible it is impossible to find the truth.

In ancient Mesopotamia pagan priests told the masses that it was impossible for individuals to contact or know or understand the gods without the assistance of the priesthood. The people were told that only the priests know the will of the gods, it would be dangerous for individuals to try to approach the gods on their own.

In Rome after Constantine, the church became an organization of men relying on their own ideas and thinking.  These men commit what the bible says is original sin yet they are considered the supreme authority of God on earth I John 2:27 the anointing which you received abides in you and you have no need of any man to teach you.

Are  ‘Christian’ Traditions Based on Paganism?

The goddess Lady of Heaven, the supreme mother was worshipped at the very beginning of civilization.  Tammuz or Dumazi who is called the Lord or the Good Shepherd was the consort of the goddess.  In Paganism the emphasis is always on the divine in female form, the goddess.

The religion which began in Rome 2000 years ago and is today called 'christianity' worships the goddess under the name of Mary, Queen of Heaven.  Her son, also called the Lord or the Good Shepherd is worshipped, but the emphasis is on the divine mother goddess.    Paganism today honours the gods under a number of different names, but a distinctive feature of paganism is the emphasis placed on the divine female.  In every pagan pantheon we find a strong goddess figure with many different images but the Mother goddess is predominant.

Mother goddess figurines have been found in every culture and as far back as the earliest civilizations.   The essence behind all goddess figures is The Triple Goddess; The Virgin, The Mother and The Crone.   A pagan chant is to Isis, Astarte, Diana, Hecate, Demeter, Kali & Innana but it could easily include “Mary”.

The Virgin Goddess: a saviour goddess who intercedes for all people. Italian; Aradia, Herodius, Diana.

The Mother Goddess: Egyptian; Isis, sister wife of Osiris and mother or Horus.

The Crone: Goddess of battle, magic and death, keeper of hidden wisdom.

Fire and candles are an integral part of pagan worship.  The fire goddess, called Bride or Brigit or Brigid in Ireland the daughter of the mother goddess whose chief shrine was in Kildare and her vigil fire tended by priestesses called daughters of fire. Freya: the goddess of war and sexual love. Frigga: goddess of fertility. Artemis or Diana: ferocious as well as nurturing, both the mother and the warrior. Persophone: the corn goddess who gave the gift of grain to the world. NOTE: Cain, the father of the pagan religion, offered grain in disobedience to the Creator God.

In Greece, where so many of the Mesopotamian myths have been regenerated as Greek myths, the snake is believed to have a direct link with the earth goddess.  It is believed that the serpent brought light and knowledge to the people. Genesis 3:4-5 the serpent said you wont die, in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened you will be as gods knowing good and evil.

The Pagan God, both son and lover of the mother goddess.  He is sacrificed and reborn to represent the return of the earth to fertility after the barren winter months, pagans observe a period of 40 days of weeping for Tammuz followed by processions and other ceremonies around March or April every year.

Associated with the pagan gods are green trees and groves; large carved wooden phallic symbols were often carried at the front of religious processions.  The original phallic symbols used in pagan worship in Egypt are today located in New York City and in front of the Vatican.  These same phallic symbols used in pagan worship are now called obelisks and used as headstones for ‘christian’ burial plots.    The pagan Egyptian custom of building temples over the bones of dead men began when Isis ordered sacred buildings to be erected over the parts of the dead and dissected Osiris and this custom is continued in modern christianity; many large cathedrals and churches have crypts underneath them including the Vatican.

The pagan god was also known variously as the sun god or sun child and to depict the close association with the sun, shown with a halo around the head.  Today the same halo is shown around the head of so-called ‘christian’ saints.

The circle cross is a popular pagan symbol.  Also of particular importance to pagans are holy wells, grottos, mountains, groves of trees, groups of stones, both natural and in a circle, such like are seen today in the grounds of christian churches of today.   Pagan customs involve contemplating a particular god or goddess image or figurine, rituals, incantations, pilgrimages, chanting, processions, sprinkling with water, lighting of candles at an altar and specially baked buns or cakes.

Pagans celebrate seasonal cycles; Summer and Winter Solstice and Spring and Autumn equinox.   The Pagan seasonal cycle is called “the wheel of the year” which is where we get the word Yule.   The yule log, decorating an evergreen tree, mistletoe, candles, fire, feasting and celebration is the traditional way pagans worshipped the sun child, however the mother goddess is always the star of this celebration.

The Autumn Equinox is depicted in the Greek myth ‘the rape of Proserpine’ or ‘Persephone’, the daughter of the mother goddess, taken by the lord of the underworld,  symbolizing barren winter, her emergence to the upper world is celebrated at Spring time.  At the first signs of Spring the Pagans held processions with an image of the goddess wearing a crown of candles, sometimes a young woman rather than the idol is carried in the processions.  These same celebrations are now called christian.    Other Pagan celebrations for this goddess include chocolate or green painted eggs hidden for children to find, with the usual wine, revelry and lovemaking to honour the fertility goddess.

The goddess was called Ishtar in ancient Mesopotamia, today her name is pronounced as Easter.

Beltane or May Day  when the May queen is crowned, the usual May Day rites are fertility rites of feasting, dancing, discarding of clothing, lovemaking and decorating bodies with ivy and flowers for Flora, lady of pleasure.  The May Pole is a phallic symbol, the ribbons symbolize the fertility (semen) of the god joining with the young women who dance around the May Pole.

Feast of Candles or Candlemass. Candles and fire are traditional tools of pagan worship.  Loaf Mass when the harvest is ready is a time of wine, revelry and lovemaking to celebrate the god Dionysius or Bacchus getting together with Ariadne who wears seven stars in her crown and whom he ‘raised to heaven’.   A similar tale is told of Christ raising His mother Mary to heaven.

Halloween is the festival for the worship of the dead.  Once celebrated by literal decapitations and displays of the heads of powerful enemies, today hollowed out pumpkins are used to represent human heads.

In Ancient Rome the most important festivals were the Saturnalia held in December and The New Year Festival held in January.    None of God’s Holy Days are in the December/January period.

God tells us in the Holy Bible of the 2 trees in the garden of Eden, ‘the tree of life’ depicts following God’s will completely and leads to humans becoming immortal spirit beings/sons of God.  The other tree ‘of knowledge of good and evil’ means humanity deciding of their own imagination what is good and evil.  Partaking of the ‘tree of knowledge of good and evil’ does not make you wise, it leads to death for eternity.   God warned humanity not to even touch this second tree.  Mankind has made up his own ideas of what this tree represents, saying it is partly good so why can’t we partake of it?   This way of thinking is the SIN that first entered the world.

The serpent who opened our eyes to disobedience is SATAN.  When humanity follows the imagination of their own evil heart, they follow the lead of Satan.  The Devil knows that he will be banished when Christ returns to earth as KING of GOD’S KINGDOM ON EARTH Revelation 20:3.

No person who follows rebellion can become an immortal soul and live forever with God.  God cannot and will not have an eternity of the rebellious antagonistic attitudes that have caused so much war and suffering on earth for the past 6000 years.    God gives humanity freedom of choice, either choose HIM or reject HIM by following the IDEAS AND RELIGION OF MEN.
