SATAN THE DEVIL HAS BEEN GIVEN POWER OVER THE NATIONS ON EARTH

Luke 4:5,6  When Jesus Christ was tempted before His crucifixion, Satan the devil took Him to a high mountain and showed Him ALL the Kingdoms of Earth in a single moment of time. The devil offered Jesus Christ power as King of the earth, without the sacrificial death He was about to endure.  Jesus came to earth to become the 'sacrifice' for our sins, so that we humans could become immortal.  Satan the devil said to Christ “All these kingdoms have been given to me and I can give them to whoever I wish, I will give them to you, if you worship Me”. 

Ezekiel 28:2 Speaking to the PRINCE of Tyre (who is a HUMAN King or Ruler)  “you are full of pride in yourself, you think you are like God, but you are a man”. 

Ezekiel 28:12  BUT speaking to the KING of Tyre, “YOU had the full amount of wisdom and beauty, you were perfect; you were in Eden the garden of God, you were covered in all precious stones when you were created. You were the anointed cherub that covers . (The Archangels wings covered the throne of God).  You were upon the Holy Mountain of God and you walked in the midst of the stones of fire (around God’s throne) v15, you were perfect in all your ways from the day of your creation UNTIL sin was found in you v16, I will destroy you O covering cherub, from among the stones of fire, I will cast you as profane from the mountain of God”.  

What was the sin of Lucifer the Archangel of God?

 Isaiah 14:12-14.  How you have fallen from Heaven, Lucifer, son of the morning, how you are cut down to the ground, you who ruins the nations of the earth. Because you said in your heart, I will exalt my throne above God, I will be like God.   Satan thought he could displace the Creator God.

An Archangel is an "angel that covers" (makes an arch stretching out wings over God's throne)

Only three Archangels are mentioned in the bible, each of these three was a "ruler" over all the other host of heaven.  One of the three Archangels was Lucifer. 

Ezekiel 28:12 and Isaiah 14:12 explain what happened to Lucifer.  Although Lucifer was perfect in wisdom and beauty and was an “anointed cherub that covers God’s throne”, pride in his own beauty and wisdom caused Lucifer to believe he could topple God from the throne and rule in place of God.  The result was that Lucifer (now called Satan, the devil, was cast to earth with his 1/3 of the angels)

 God chose a particular nation of people on earth to represent God’s laws in action, thereby showing the rest of the nations on earth the benefits that result from obedience to God.  God instructed this nation of people He had chosen to make a replica of God’s throne in Heaven.  

Exodus 25:17 You will make a mercy seat of pure gold, and verse 18, you will make TWO cherubims of beaten gold, verse 20 and the cherubims will stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings. These TWO represented the only “archangels” which were left in Heaven, after Lucifer had rebelled against God and was dispelled from heaven to the earth. 

All the Nations on Earth are under a 'veil' of deception from Satan the devil.

Ephesians 2:2  He is the 'Prince of the power of the air'.

Luke 4:5,6, The devil took Christ to a high mountain and showed all the kingdoms of the earth in a single moment of time and said "all this has been given to me".

 Isaiah 25:7 God will destroy the covering cast over all people, the veil spread over all nations.

At the present time, Satan has been given the power to influence Kings and Leaders of Nations on earth. But his reign is soon to come to an end.  After 6000 years of freedom of choice; following God’s will,or following Satan’s way of rebellion against God, Jesus Christ will return to this earth as King.  God’s Kingdom on Earth will last for 1000 years and God's will shall be done!  (Matthew 6:9,10) At that time, humanity will NOT have freedom of choice, Christ will force all humanity to obey God’s laws.  For the first time since Adam and Eve, even wild animals will eat grass and herbs,(Genesis 1:29,30)(Isaiah 65:25) and will not fear or threaten humans. Humanity will not be permitted to kill each other anymore (Isaiah 2:3,4) nor will we be permitted to continue to destroy the earth and everything on it for the sake of power and wealth.  Finally, after 6000 years of human mistreatment, the earth will ‘rest’ and blossom under God’s Government of Peace.  Humans will again have the opportunity to become immortal ‘sons of God’.  

Little wonder then that Satan, who was once known as a son of God, is so furious with humanity.  Not surprising that Satan wants to see as many humans destroyed as he can manage.  With deceit and trickery and by blinding us to the truth, the devils sole aim is to see humanity destroy itself, both physically and spiritually. 

Christ’s warning message to those who wish to become sons of the True God is twofold.  Firstly, ‘deny yourself’ (give up your own reasoning because it is tainted and distorted by the influence of the devil) and Secondly “Keep your mind on things above (God’s Kingdom), Satan the devil CONSTANTLY tries to put emphasis on THE PHYSICAL, because when we think on physical things we cannot truly understand the things of God. 

Remember in Genesis when Adam and Eve first began to decide for themselves what is good and what is evil?  The first thing they decided was that nakedness was evil (they put the emphasis on the physical).  Satan had misled them as he misleads us today.  Mankind will not hesitate to kill his fellow man in the name of ‘god’. Men decide what is pleasing to god, what other men and women should wear, how to behave, what to eat or not eat, which days to celebrate or not, what to read or not read.  YET ONLY THE HOLY BIBLE, THE TRUE WORD OF GOD, REFLECTS THE WORDS OF GOD WHICH HE GAVE TO HIS OWN PROPHETS.  The law and the prophets were until John the Baptist.  After John the Baptist came Jesus Christ, preaching the Kingdom of God on earth.   The ONLY laws Jesus changed were the laws of sacrifice to do with the shedding of animal blood BECAUSE CHRIST BECAME THE SACRIFICIAL LAMB, WHOSE BLOOD WAS SHED FOR SIN.

The Holy Spirit was given to Adam and Eve because they had the ‘potential’ to become immortal sons of God.  BUT, when Adam and Eve chose to follow the way of the devil, rather that obey God, they lost the Holy Spirit and thereby cut themselves off from being immortal.  God told them they would die and ‘return to the dust they came from”.  For four thousand odd years, with only a few exceptions, mankind generally did not have access to God’s Holy Spirit.  The plan of God was shown to men by physical “types”, because the physical was all they could understand.  Therefore, a lamb without blemish became a ‘symbol’ of Jesus Christ., who was a man without sin.  The seventh day of the week, became a Sabbath of Rest, which symbolizes the one thousand year ‘Sabbath of Rest’ which is God’s Kingdom on Earth.  Revelation 20:4 Satan the devil is taken away and chained up for the one thousand years of God’s Kingdom.  The Day of Atonement represents the fact that for 6000 years the goat with all the sins of mankind on its head is let go free, while the goat with no sin is sacrificed for the sins of all men.  The Day of Trumpets, is the day that symbolizes Christ’s triumphant return to earth as King.  Pentecost represents the day that the Holy Spirit was again freely available to mankind. The Feast of Tabernacles represents the 1000 year reign of Christ on earth ruling over God’s Kingdom.  The Last Great Day is Judgement Day, when all people who have ever lived on this earth, will be given the opportunity to decide complete obedience to God forever, or death forever.
