WILL THERE BE ANIMAL SACRIFICES IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD ON EARTH AFTER JESUS CHRIST RETURNS AS KING? (prophecy for our future)

 

WHY WERE BLOOD SACRIFICES NECESSARY IN THE FIRST PLACE?  

DOES A SACRIFICE OF BLOOD REPRESENT THE DEATH OF THE SINNER?

 

BEFORE MAN WAS CREATED there was ORIGINAL SIN.

The very first sin was committed by Lucifer, one of the three Covering Cherubs whose wings “arched” over the throne of GOD in HEAVEN.

SIN IS SPIRITUAL: Lucifer rebelled against GOD and tried to TAKE GOD’s PLACE. Ezekiel 28:14-15. Isaiah 14:12-14.  In the BATTLE that followed, LUCIFER’S name was changed to SATAN THE DEVIL and he was flung to EARTH. Revelation 12:7-9.

The PENALTY for SIN is SPIRITUAL, ETERNAL DEATH: A sinner cannot live forever in God’s presence. Psalm 1:5-6. Ezekiel 18:4 the soul that sins will die. SATAN the devil is immortal he cannot die, yet he cannot live in God’s presence. He must be cast FOREVER into DARKNESS away from the light that IS GOD.

 

GOD’S PLAN is that MORTAL humans are created in HIS image, IF we are WILLING to give up our own thoughts (SELF) in order to OBEY the WILL OF GOD, He will make us HIS IMMORTAL SONS.

God wanted to be sure that IF we followed the sin of SATAN we would not have to live our lives in misery forever, as Satan will. Because we are MORTAL, if we disobey GOD then we will pay the Penalty of Sin (ETERNAL DEATH) NOT torment forever but nothingness, the memory of us is gone forever. Ecclesiastes 9:5-6.

 

Animal sacrifices were a way of showing a physical minded people that SIN causes DEATH. When Adam was ejected from the Garden of Eden because of SIN, the ability to choose the ‘tree of life’ (God’s holy spirit) which gives us IMMORTALITY was denied to all mankind.

UNTIL the sacrifice of Jesus Christ ALL mankind was CARNAL minded, without access to the holy spirit and under the penalty of SIN, which is eternal death. By man (Adam) came death, by Christ comes resurrection of the dead. 1 Cor. 15:21. Because of Adam ALL die, because of Christ, ALL shall be made alive 1 Corinthians 15:22.

 

FALSE RELIGION teaches that we have an IMMORTAL spirit. The same LIE told by Satan when tempting Eve to partake of what GOD had warned Adam led to DEATH. Genesis 3:3,11, 17-19.

We DO NOT have an IMMORTAL SOUL. It is the SPIRIT OF MAN that goes to God when we die. The Spirit of Man is the spirit that sets us apart from animals and allows us to understand intellectual and esoteric concepts. It is individual to us like a DNA chip, storing individual traits of personality, enabling God to resurrect us to physical life when the time is right. The spirit of man has NO independent knowledge or consciousness.

The SPIRIT of GOD on the other hand, gives us understanding of SPIRITUAL things. The holy spirit comes directly from GOD to us on repentance and baptism. Our baptism indicates that our OLD SELF is dead and buried. Job 32:8. Ecclesiastes 3:21. Zech.12:1. 1 Corinthians 2:11. 1 Corinthians 2:14.

 

Humans are MORTAL, we do not live as spirits of ghosts after this mortal coil is shed. There is NO consciousness in the grave, the DEAD know NOTHING. Ecclesiastes 9:10. Ecclesiastes 9:5. Ecclesiastes 3:19. Ezekiel 18:20.

When GOD warned Adam that he would DIE if he took of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, God did not lie, yet Adam did not drop dead immediately. Genesis 3:3. BECAUSE you have eaten of the tree I told you not to touch, in the sweat of your face you will eat bread UNTIL you return to DUST. You will return to the dust you were made from. God warned Adam of ETERNAL DEATH. Genesis 3:17-19.

 

EXCEPT THAT JESUS CHRIST ‘became us’ and took our sins upon Himself and was then SACRIFICED as the Penalty for SIN, we would CONTINUE to be in the condition ADAM put us under. No matter how obedient to God, at our physical death, we would return to dust and have no chance of ever becoming immortal. 1 Corinthians 15:12-18.

We were under the penalty of SIN which is ETERNAL DEATH, UNTIL the sacrificial death of JESUS CHRIST paid the penalty of sin we were under. Now we do not have to die forever. Now we can become immortal sons of God. Romans 5:19.

 

The OLD TESTAMENT physical church was for PHYSICAL, CARNAL people who were unable to understand SPIRITUAL THINGS. God’s plan IS FOR HIS SPIRITUAL CHURCH. Physical sacrifice of animals represented the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ. 

Even AFTER Jesus Christ’s sacrificial death, we are NOT IMMORTAL YET. God’s Plan has a timetable of 7000 years, which God calls 7 ‘Days’. 2 Peter 3:8. The FIRST 6000 years (6 ‘days’) are for MAN to live his life freely giving up his own will in order to live by the WILL OF GOD. The following 1000 year period is called God’s SABBATH of Rest”. During this 1000 year KINGDOM OF GOD on earth, God’s WILL is imposed on mankind, there is no longer free choice, we WILL obey the will of GOD. Rev.20:1-4.

 

JESUS CHRIST is “firstborn of the dead” the FIRST to become immortal, at His Coming, His ‘Elect” will be resurrected.1 Corinthians 15:20-23 & 52 & John 5:28. Because of ADAM all mankind are cursed with eternal death. Animal sacrifice did NOTHING to take away the penalty of sin and re-instate the opportunity for ETERNAL LIFE. They were the future. Hebrews 10:1-22. JESUS CHRIST paid the penalty of sin and opened the veil into the presence of GOD for ALL MEN. JESUS IS OUR HIGH PRIEST of the New Testament SPIRITUAL church. The laws and sacrifices for us now are SPIRITUAL.

 

We can now hold fast in FAITH realising what JESUS has done for us by His sacrifice OR we can make His sacrifice of NO AVAIL by thinking animal sacrifices are still necessary. Galations 5:1, 4-5, 16-18, 22,24. Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith CHRIST has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Has CHRIST become of no effect to you? You prefer the physical laws?
